Limits and drawbacks

  • This is residence, not a passport. Citizenship needs eight years of residence and a Hungarian-language exam — a separate, much longer road.
  • The “recoverable” fund route locks your capital for five years and does not guarantee its value; it is an investment at market risk, not a safe deposit.
  • The 1,155,000 USD donation route is money gone for good.
  • The programme is new (relaunched late 2024) with a short track record, and Hungary’s rule-of-law standing within the EU is a factor some will want to weigh.

What it gets you

  • A ten-year renewable EU residence permit with Schengen travel
  • No minimum-stay requirement to keep the permit
  • A recoverable route: fund units can be redeemed after five years
  • A flat 15% personal income tax and a relatively low cost of living

Freedom. Anywhere.

What we do for you

Citizenship or residence, the honest answer often is not the one you arrived with. We take the whole procedure with you — eligibility, the route that fits your situation, the file, the follow-up — with one person on your side throughout.

For Hungary specifically, you are talking to someone who already knows the file: who to speak to on the ground, what the unit actually asks for, and the points where applications stall.

  • One point of contact, from the first call to the certificate
  • Vetted partners on the ground — law firms, licensed agents, banks — introduced, not listed
  • It starts with a short qualifying call, and no, it is not a sales call
