How we verify and score

We treat this site as a YMYL medium — your money, your life. Each amount, timeline and legal condition is verified against the programme’s official government source on the day the page is produced, then dated in the page’s footer. A professional or press source never stands alone for a figure. Where we cannot confirm a point officially, we say so in plain terms rather than guess.

Each programme carries scores from 0 to 100, computed from the data — never entered by hand. The weightings are:

• — Mobility — visa-free destinations, weighted for Schengen, UK, US and China access
• — Total cost for a family of four, fees included, inverted so lower is better
• — Speed — the median announced processing time
• — Presence — how much physical presence the programme requires
• — Liquidity — a donation scores zero, refundable bonds far higher, real estate in between
• — Stability — the programme’s history of change and outside regulatory pressure

The mobility score needs a verified visa-free destination count for every programme. Where that data is not yet confirmed against an official passport index, we do not publish a composite score — we show the verified figures side by side instead. An index built on unsourced numbers would be worse than none.

Rules change. When an official source updates, we update the page and its verification date. Material corrections are logged. If you spot an error, tell us — accuracy is the point of the site.
