Limits and drawbacks

  • The 200,000 USD headline is misleading: around 75,000 USD in government and due diligence fees take the real single-applicant cost to roughly 284,500 USD.
  • A United Kingdom visa has been required for Dominica passport holders since 19 July 2023, which materially weakens travel value.
  • Beyond Russia and Belarus, the programme applies conditional bans on nationals of Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Yemen, and a regional ban on northern Iraq (Kurdistan); eligibility should be checked individually.
  • A mandatory interview applies, and the government signalled tighter rules in July 2026 whose detail is not yet published (see the disputed point).

What it gets you

  • Among the lowest headline entry points in the Caribbean
  • Processing that practitioners complete at the fast end of the advertised three-to-six-month range
  • No physical presence required before grant, at present

Will Dominica require in-person passport collection or a stay from 2026?

What the official source says
The CBIU website does not describe any physical-presence or in-person passport-collection requirement, nor an effective date, as of 19 July 2026.
What practitioners report
The Prime Minister announced new requirements in July 2026. Secondary sources cite different measures — mandatory interviews, a five-year name-change ban, and in some reports passport collection or a short stay — without agreeing, and some cite an October 2026 date for certain measures.
What is not settled
No official text sets out the scope or the effective date. If a stay or in-person collection is being considered, it would materially change Dominica’s fully remote appeal. Confirm the current rules directly with the CBIU before applying on that basis.

What we do for you

Citizenship or residence, the honest answer often is not the one you arrived with. We take the whole procedure with you — eligibility, the route that fits your situation, the file, the follow-up — with one person on your side throughout.

For Dominica specifically, you are talking to someone who already knows the file: who to speak to on the ground, what the unit actually asks for, and the points where applications stall.

  • One point of contact, from the first call to the certificate
  • Vetted partners on the ground — law firms, licensed agents, banks — introduced, not listed
  • It starts with a short qualifying call, and no, it is not a sales call
